I don't think this is written by an AI. It feels to me that the writing is what I think of as "Mediumese" There are so, so many people on Medium who copy this chopped-up, statico style of one-sentence paragraphs and sentence fragments. This style of writing has also bled into LinkedIn posts.
The author should practice better writing techniques and apply them. I would prefer that people would comment on the content of the essay rather than the style, but the way this is written is so off-putting that it gets in the way. Instead of a smooth presentation of the information, it is like eating a meal that has been covered in beach sand. It is too gritty for my taste.
