100% agree about the return of cults. I've been telling anyone who will listen that we will see people worshipping Marvel superheroes or sports teams within our lifetimes. We will also see an increase in personal religions and worship of fetish objects / characters; last year's FedEx killer said he wanted to be with Applejack in the afterlife.

Ohhh interesting and i would not be at all surprised to see any of these developments. Obviously its easy to imagine negative outcomes with cults but my hope is that there will be some important new ideas and ways of thinking that arise out of this religious creativity. Time will tell i suppose…

With China, you have to look at the demographics. They are just horrible. Way below replacement rate. In 2050 it will be a society of few young people supporting a ton of old people.

Interesting. My core idea, spelled in the third of my three pieces, will explode in China I predict, especially when read in conjunction with the final page in the 4th chapter of my white eutopia. By their very nature those six words (C of C), once understood, express an unsupressable idea with irresistible consequences. It doesn't hurt either that my name phonetically speaking, "Luke Lea," will play well in China. What do you think?
