Not bad. Not bad at all.

The authorship of the final poem is slightly unclear given that all other GPT-authored poems are double-quoted. But my, my, that last one is good.

(Also line 14 of the original poem is ~~needlessly gendered~~ objectifying.)

Love this. You probably don't want to give it away, but was the last poem from a LLM? I'd be impressed if it were, because the middle ones are so banal.

The very last one is almost all plagiarism of the imagery of the Dhammapada from Theravada Buddhism. Specifically, Chapter 11: http://www.buddhanet.net/dhammapada/d_oldage.htm

Gasp! Oh no! He's broken the laws of writing! Heaven forbid he make an artistic choice to not cite a thousands-year old text! Lock him up and throw away the key!

How long did that take? It was impressive I will have to admit. Will we follow along or take off in a snit? 🤣 sorry I couldn’t resist.♥️

what name for this shining task

sitting here

in it's light

i bask-

was it bacon

because bacon

can cover a multitude of sins-

so unbecoming

these windy waving flags of speculation

flap about my eyes-

weaver - does it sit?

is a weaver of poets

not a poet?

would i go unnamed

and never know it?
