Ahhh that looks cool. I sometimes wish I still played video games as I do believe some of them are great art, but sadly my playing days are behind me, at least for now.
well, if you ever want to try something fresh - try some of the remedy games (Alan Wake, Control etc.)
They've got great storytelling and really detailed worldbuilding. And you can always reduce the combat difficulty, so that you can focus more on the story. The worldbuilding is mainly why I like those games so much. Nothing comes as close to being immersive :)
ooh, maybe you might like video essays? I watched a couple of Jacob Geller's and they're really relaxing and interesting (https://youtu.be/Q85l1Fenc5w). I especially liked his video on "gross stuff" where the devs explore some rather complex themes, shrouded in """gore""" - kindof a metaphor for how life is - raw and ugly and unapologetic. No sugarcoating.
The art produces an interesting effect on the word "stone".
this was dope
:)
Just spent a couple hours of thinking random things on the bus. This just resonates with me
Also, I don't think you play video games - but that limitless., almost liminal vibe of the art reminds of me of Control
